NSS workshop ARTPS Act & Service under Sewa Setu on 18/05/2024
A report on Sensitization workshop on ARTPS Act & Services Under Sewa Setu (Formerly RTPS) Portal : Date-18th May, 2024 A Sensitization workshop was conducted in Beltola College on Date-18th May, 2024 on the topic ARTPS Act & Services under the Sewa Setu portal, which is formerly known as the RTPS Portal for the NSS Volunteers & Students of Beltola College. The programme was organised by NSS Unit & IIC of Beltola College. All the teachers and a great number of students and NSS Volunteers attended the workshop. The programme started at 11:30 am and the inaugural speech was delivered by Dr Ajit Borkotoky, Principal of the college. The programme was hosted by Pankaj Kumar Kalita, Assistant Professor, Department of English. A brief lecture about the Workshop was made by Ramesh Kumar Rai, Programme Officer, NSS Unit of the college. The technical session started at 11:45 AM and Dr. Hemanta Rabha, T & CBS, AITEC & CSD Society. Govt. of Assam made a detailed overview of the ARTPS Act. Ordinance 2024 and Student-centric Services under Sewa Setu Portal. He emphasised on the use of the portal to help the ignorant people about the threat of the middlemen, who by illegal means, collected money from people by name of helping them. A live demonstration of student-centric services application was done by Sri Lakshinandan Goswami, T & CBS, AITEC & CSD Society, Govt. of India. Vote of thanks was given by Sadhana Kalita, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics. The programme came to a close at 1:30 pm
